In Thailand, I got an opportunity to teach in an Aviation College, which was a great experience. There were five Indian Instructors, all NDA alumni. It was preparing youngsters to get their Thai Commercial Pilots License so that they could do Civil Flying and join Civil Airlines here. It was back to Academy days and interacting with youngsters, from different countries, Thai, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, was like a breath of fresh air. It kept one active and current with what was happening in Civil Aviation. Teaching in another country is something which I will always treasure. Even though to most students here, English was a second language, the challenge was well worth the effort. Thailand is beautiful and worth visiting as they earn their livelihood through Tourism, so everything is tourist friendly and not as expensive as Europe and the developed countries.
